
Ardella V. Stansfield, 87, of Boiling
Springs, passed away at home on Saturday, August 27, 2011. She was born on Wednesday, September 19, 1923, in Carlisle, and
was a daughter of the late Amos L. and Hazel (Shaeffer) Keck. She was the widow of Robert V. Stansfield, who died January
2, 1996. Ardella was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking. She is survived by two daughters;
Nancy Louise Shoemaker of Carlisle and Suzanne (and husband, Donald) Diehl of Boiling Springs, two step-sons; Robert L. Stansfield
and Edward L. Stansfield, both of Carlisle, her brother, Clyde Keck of Carlisle and her sister, Beulah Griest of Carlisle,
nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Keck
and three sisters; Marie Simons, Gladys Coughlin and Dorothy Mark. Funeral
services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2011, in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover
St., Carlisle with Pastor Tim Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Visitation will
be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Celtic Healthcare of Carlisle, Suite
100, 220 Wilson St., Carlisle, PA 17013.
