Glenn T. Jackson, 86, of Carlisle, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at the Chapel Pointe Health Center in Carlisle. He was born Oct. 3, 1924, in Coffee County, TN, a son of the late William M. and Julia (Virgie) Jackson.

Glenn was a US Army veteran of WWII, and had worked at the Giant Food store in Carlisle for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy G. (Bodkins) Jackson of Carlisle and several other extended family members.

Private interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements.

Although our lives have been separated, you were always in my memories. May you enjoy the mist in heaven as you always did when it rained. You are with God now, but will always be remembered.
