
Edna I. Keller, 93, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011, at Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home,
Carlisle. She was born on Wednesday, July 4, 1917, in Lebanon, a daughter of the late James G. and Elsie (Fissel) Berry and
the widow of William E. "Dude" Keller, who died May 26, 1996.
Edna retired from the former Hall’s Furniture Store in Carlisle after 21 years of service. She also worked part-time
for the Bon-Ton Store, Carlisle. Edna formerly attended the Plainfield First Church of God and she was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by a son, William D. Keller (and wife, Jo Ann) of Carlisle, daughters; Sondra L. Bowers (and husband, Bob)
of Carlisle, Janet M. Blosser of Carlisle and Charlene E. Mellott (and husband, Roger) of Newville, sisters-in-law; Evelyn
Logan and Sally Berry both of Carlisle, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews. Edna was also preceded in death by a son, James C. Keller, a daughter, Joyce Keller, brothers; Charles,
James, Harry and Delmar Berry and sisters; Margaret Shindler and Anna Mae Laudermilch.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St.,
Carlisle. Pastor Donald C. Snyder will officiate. Burial will be in LeTort Cemetery, Carlisle. Viewing will held on Friday
from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.
