Clair E. Beamer, Sr., 78, of Gardners, died Saturday,
January 15, 2011 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on Thursday, June 9, 1932, in Williamsport, and was a son
of the late Verna (Beamer) Cornman and was married to the late Mary Jane (Kuhn) Beamer, who died April 29, 2003.
Clair retired in 1994 from Union Quarries, Inc.,
Carlisle after more than 40 years of service. Clair enjoyed working on automobiles in his spare time.
He is survived by two sons; Clair E. "Butch"
Beamer, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN and Rodney J. Beamer (and his wife, Tammi) of Gardners, two daughters; Susan J. Parson and
Rose M. Beamer both of Gardners, two brothers; Wayne Cornman of Carlisle and Richard Cornman of Newville, a sister, Carol
Cornman of Harrisburg, five grandchildren; Dan Parson and Chris, Sarah, Tasha and Heather Beamer, two great-grandchildren;
Sadie Beamer and Nina Lance and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of
the family in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, with Rev. Kenneth Swick officiating. Burial will be in Goodyear Cemetery.
