Charles L. Fetterhoff, 65, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2011 at home. He was born on Thursday, January 10, 1946 in Tower City and was the son of Grace (Fetterhoff) Umbenhauer of Pottsville.

Charles retired after twenty years as a supervisor for Goodwill Industries in Harrisburg, and was a valet attendant for Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and attended Shermans Dale United Methodist Church. Charles enjoyed spending time with his family and his puppies, Hunni and Mocha and taking trips to their home in Chincoteague Island, VA.

In addition to his mother, Charles is survived by his wife of 22 years, Melanie A. (Myers) Fetterhoff, two daughters; Heidi A. Fetterhoff and Holli L. Fetterhoff, both of New Bloomfield and five grandchildren.

Services and burial will be private. Family and friends may gather at his home in Carlisle on Sunday January 16, 2011 between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM. for fellowship. Arrangements are being handled by Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Inc., 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle.
