Debra K. (Baer) Hill, 54, of Carlisle, died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg. She was born on Thursday, June 14, 1956, in Carlisle, and is a daughter of Glenn and Jennie (Weaver) Baer of Shermansdale.

Deb was a 1974 graduate of West Perry High School and had worked for 27 years with the former C. H. Masland & Sons in Carlisle. Deb enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family and four grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Robert E. Hill, a son, Joel D. Hill of Carlisle, a daughter, Stacey L. Hill of Walnut Bottom, two sisters; Patricia Gerald of Mechanicsburg and Ellen Miller of Landisburg, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010, in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Gary L. Daugherty officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 p.m. until time of services.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association/Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Rd., Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002.

I am so sorry to hear of Deb passing, I worked with her at Maslands/Lear.  It was a shock to hear of her passing.  She will be remembered by all who have worked with her.  She will be missed.
