Ronald L. Baum, 57, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on
Saturday, December 11, 2010 at home. He was born on Wednesday, August 5, 1953 in Carlisle and is a son of Betty (Long) Baum
of Shippensburg and the late Richard Baum.
Ronald was a 1972 graduate of Big Spring High School and was
employed as a machine operator with the Carlisle Container Company for over 35 years. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and hunting.
In addition to his mother, Ronald is survived by his devoted
and loving wife of 37 years, Donna J. (Failor) Baum, two daughters; Angela K. Baum and Tracy L. Baum, both of Shippensburg,
three brothers; Richard Baum, Jr., Michael Baum and Rick Baum, all of Shippensburg, three sisters; Mary Shannon of Carlisle,
Linda Funston of Shippensburg and Katherine Foltz of Shermansdale and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December
16, 2010 in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Pastor Robert F. Myers officiating. Burial
will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday,
December 15, 2010 and 9:00 a.m. until time of services on Thursday. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery,
Carlisle. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of God, 458 N. College St., Carlisle, PA 17013.
