Dear Mary, Ethel and Family, Your Mother was a great
lady. She loved her family and doing for others. She was a big influence in my life. I really liked going
to her house and the sticky buns. May she rest in peace. Our prayers are with you.

To her daughters, Mary and Ethel,
My thoughts are of the devoted care you rendered
your Mother, my last cousin, in her final days. Laura truly had an amazing life, bridging the era of the great 1918 Flu Pandemic
and the present.Never mind that she stayed in one place; history, invention, development, wars, weather, distress and happiness,
they all affected her there in her corner of the world. Laura led a full life, from a girl riding horses in the '30s
to manager of her own farm these past years, a life not of the current culture, but the envy of many who will never truly
understand. I feel fortunate that I was able to see her in July & August. God rest her; she will be missed by Jim, Chrissy,
and their 3 kids.

May she rest in peace. I visited the farm she so loved
many years ago as the son of Richard Nolte, Sr. along with my brother & sisters.
