Lorretta J. (Barrick) Keck, 58, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on
Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at home with her family at her side. She was born on Wednesday, June 25, 1952, in Carlisle and was
a daughter of Pauline (Bishop) Barrick of Carlisle and the late Henry Barrick.
A graduate of Thompson Institute, she was employed at the former Carlisle
Ribbon Mill for 14 years. She was a member of the First Church of God in Newville. Lorretta enjoyed cooking, taking care of
her home and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Lorretta is survived by her loving and devoted
husband of over 40 years, Larry G. Keck, Sr., two daughters; Tracy J. Keck of Carlisle and Melissa A. (and her husband, Joe
L.) Tressler of Newville, two sons; Larry G. (and his wife, Tonya S.) Keck, Jr. Of Newburg and Jason L. (and his wife, Rachael
A.) Keck of Mt. Holly Springs, her sister, Eunice Weaver of Boiling Springs, three brothers; Henry Barrick of Newville, Randy
Barrick of Virginia and Bradley Barrick of Carlisle, 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, August 20, 2010 in
Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Pastor Wayne Good will officiate. Viewing will be held from 12:00
p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Lorretta’s family would
like to extend special thanks to the Celtic Health Care of Carlisle.
