Malcolm R. Hendricks, 71, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, July
31, 2010, in Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on Monday, April 10, 1939, in Trigg County, Kentucky, a son of
the late Clifton and Nancy (Wallis) Hendricks and was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hendricks.
Malcolm retired from Del Packaging near Houston, TX after 20 years
of service as a supervisor. He also worked for the New Cumberland Army Depot and retired in 2009 after five years of service.
Malcolm was an avid golfer and also enjoyed fishing. He was a very kind hearted man and was loved by all who crossed his path.
Malcolm was surrounded by love everyday and will be sincerely missed.
He is survived by his sister, Margaret Henderson of Hopkinsville, KY,
two brothers; James Hendricks of Cadiz, KY and Ernest Hendricks of Murray, KY. He was a great companion to Martha M. Peters
of Carlisle for nine years and was a wonderful father to two sons and two daughters and an awesome grandfather and great-grandfather.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2010,
in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Dwight Schlaline officiating. Burial will be in
Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 1 p.m. until time of the services. Memorial
contributions may be made to, The Salvation Army, 20 E. Pomfret St., Carlisle, PA 17013.
