Robert P. "Pap" Webber, 73, of Newville, passed away with his
loving family by his side on Monday, May 24, 2010, in Harrisburg Hospital. He was born on Tuesday, July 14, 1936, in Newville,
son of the late Alfred F. and Bertha (Morrison) Webber.
Bob was a 1954 graduate of Big Spring High School in Newville
and retired after 25 years of service with Wilson Drywall in Shermans Dale. He was a longtime member, trustee and Sunday school
teacher at West Hill United Methodist Church, Carlisle. Pap loved hunting, the outdoors, camping, shooting his bow and spending
time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years,
Phyllis B. (Varner) Webber, a son, Edward R. (and his wife, Linda) Webber of Newville, a daughter, Terry E. (and her husband,
Patrick) Walker of Carlisle, three brothers; Frederick of Vienna, VA, Harold of Mechanicsburg and Richard of Newville, three
sisters; Elizabeth Gratz of Newburg, Lois Hueholt of White Haven and Dorothy Reese of Newburg, six grandchildren; Matthew
and Brian Shearer, Stephanie and Amanda Webber and Kelly and Lindsey Walker, a great-granddaughter, Kayla Shearer and many
nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by three brothers; Samuel, Donald and Marlin Webber.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2010,
in the West Hill United Methodist Church, 2164 Newville Rd., Carlisle, with Rev. Iva O'Brien officiating. Burial will be private
in Newville Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday from 5 - 8:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover
St., Carlisle. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the West Hill United Methodist Church, C/O Dolores
Wiser, Treasurer, 120 Limekiln Rd., Carlisle, PA 17015.

Dear Mrs. Webber, Ed and Terri, I know it has been
a long long time since I saw you all. I am so very sorry to hear about Pap. We grew up together in the same small
church, which made a major impact on all of our lives. God bless and my prayers are with you now.
