Kathleen M. Koser, 70, of Mt. Holly Springs,
passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, in Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She
was born on Sunday, July 16, 1939, in East Berlin, and was the daughter of the late Donald L. and Claramae (Klugh) Thumma.
She was a teacher's aid for eight years at the
Bethel Assembly of God Church Daycare, Carlisle. Kathleen enjoyed reading the Bible and her Daily Devotions. She was artistic,
good with her hands, liked to draw, paint and make crafts.
Kathleen is survived by her devoted and loving
husband of 53 years, Charles V. Koser, three sons; Carl E. Koser of Landisburg, Donald G. Koser of Mechanicsburg and Edward
W. Koser of Mt. Holly Springs, two brothers, Dale L. Thumma and Clarence W. Thumma, both of Carlisle, three grandchildren,
three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ethel R. Soule.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on
Wednesday, March 17, 2010, in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Linda Lambert officiating.
Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the
funeral home.

I was sorry to hear of Kathleen's passing. We
worked together at Sarah Todd nursing home. I have fond memories of our talks and time spent together. After I
moved to Lancaster we talked on the phone and talked of getting together for a visit but because of her health was unable
to do so. I will miss her. My prayers are with you. May God heal your grief as only He can.
