She is survived by two sons; Kenneth L. (and his wife, Judy) Evans, Jr., Carlisle and MSgt. James E. Evans, USAF, currently stationed at RAF Lakenheath, England, a daughter, Laurie A. Evans of Carlisle, a devoted friend, Sue Curran of Carlisle, four grandchildren; Michelle Young, Danielle Evans, April French and Kenny Evans, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Evelyn was also preceded in death by three brothers; Richard, Lester and Clarence Gsell, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 15, 2010 in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Tim Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 3211 N.
