
Stanley L. Baker, 53, of Carlisle, died Saturday, February
6, 2010, in Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on Thursday, June 28, 1956, in Carlisle, and was a son of the late
Ralph E. Baker, Sr. and Georgia C. (Bishop) Baker.
Stan was a 1974 graduate of Carlisle High School, and was
currently employed by the PA Department of Labor & Industry in Harrisburg. He was a member of the Professional Bookkeepers
Club and he enjoyed working on computers. Stan was loved and liked by many people. He was preceded in death by his twin sons;
Clinton and Clayton Baker.
He is survived by his wife of nine years, Elizabeth M. (Lewis)
Baker, a daughter, Crystal A. (and her husband, Barry) Norrell of Newville, one step-son, Matthew T. Gilliland of Carlisle,
two brothers; Ralph E. Baker, Jr. of Fairfax, VA and Robert E. Hill of Carlisle, two sisters; Glenda M. Duncan and Paula L.
Baker both of Carlisle, two granddaughters; Brooklyn and Releigh Norrell and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010
at 8:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Denny Killinger officiating. A
viewing will be held on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until time of the services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family
in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3211 N.
Front St., Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110-1342 or to the American Lung Assoc. of the Mid-Atlantic, 3001 Old Gettysburg Rd.,
Camp Hill, PA 17011.
