Genevieve Naomi "Patty" Zimmerman, 94, of the Quincy Village
in Quincy, died Sunday, January 10, 2010, in the Waynesboro Hospital. She was born on Saturday, July 10, 1915, in Carlisle,
and was a daughter of the late Almeda (Frehn) Shupp and the widow of Rev. Clinton D. Zimmerman, who died Oct. 2, 1999.
Patty was a 1933 graduate of Carlisle High School. She had
worked for the Christian Publications, Inc. in Harrisburg for ten years and then retired from the Provident Book Store in
Lancaster. Patty was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Cleona and AARP.
She is survived by her extended family and many friends.
Patty’s celebration of life service will be held on
Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the Bryson Room at Quincy Village, 6596 Orphanage Rd., Quincy, with Rev. Guy R. Baer
officiating. There will be no viewing. Graveside services and burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Monroe Twp. on Thursday
at 2 p.m. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Village,
P.O. Box 217, Quincy, PA 17247.

I was so sorry to learn of Pat's death. She was such
a pleasant person as I visited her at Quincy while I was Chaplain. She was ready to go to meet her Lord. You have my deepest
sympathy and I pray that God will be with you.
