Marion Ellen (Snow) Miller, age 89, of
Carlisle went to be with the Lord on Dec. 21, 2018. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Myrtle
(Kyle) Snow.
Marion was a graduate of New Cumberland High School, the class of 1947,
where she was a majorette in the New Cumberland Marching Band Front. While a resident at Chapel Pointe Retirement Community,
she was a member of the Chapel Pointe Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Before moving to Carlisle, she was an active
member of the Shiremanstown United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She was a loving wife, mother and
grandmother. Marion enjoyed picture puzzles, reading and special times with her family at the family cabin.
She is survived by
her husband of nearly 72 years, Robert S. Miller, her daughter, Terry Middlekauff of Carlisle, her son, Ted Miller (Cindy)
of Carlisle, granddaughter, Tami Reynolds of Shermans Dale and grandson, Troy Middlekauff of New Cumberland, 6 great-grandchildren
and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Todd Miller of Mechanicsburg and her younger brothers; Glenn
Snow (Dauphin) and Steven Snow (Harrisburg).
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday,
January 9, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in the Henry Chapel at Chapel Pointe Retirement Community, 770 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with
Rev. Steve Motter officiating. Private burial will be held at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions
can be made to the Benevolent Fund at Chapel Pointe. The Miller family would like to thank the Nursing
Staff at Chapel Pointe and also Hospice of Central PA for all the loving care and attention that Marion received while living
