Joseph J. Dopsovic, 103, of Chapel Pointe at Carlisle and formerly
of Wind Gap and Wyomissing, passed away on October 20, 2018 at Chapel Pointe. He embraced life fully, right up until
the end. Joe was born on February 14, 1915 in Catasauqua, PA and was the son of the late Melicar and Emelia (Ondris)
Dopsovic. He was married for 70 years to the late Theresa Liero Dopsovic, who passed away on May 19, 2011. He was a parishioner of St. Mary’s
Episcopal Church, Wind Gap and St. John’s Episcopal Church, Carlisle. Joe devoted his retirement to his family
and friends. He enjoyed sewing quilts, furniture making and making pillow cases and dresses for missionaries.
He
is survived by one son, Richard D. of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, one sister, Agnes Chabak of Catasauqua, one daughter-in-law,
Sue Dopsovic of Wyomissing, one son-in-law, Terry Young of Carlisle, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Dopsovic and one daughter, Constance Young. In following
Joe’s wish, services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St. Mary’s
