Michael W. Raffensberger, 57, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at home.  He was born on July 8, 1961 in Carlisle and was the son of the late Arthur Shannon and Alice (Heffelfinger) Raffensberger.

Michael worked more than 20 years as an electrician at the former Williams Grove Amusement Park, Mechanicsburg.  He also worked as a cook at Freeman’s Barbecue, Carlisle.

He is survived by one son, Michael W. Raffensberger, Jr. of Carlisle, one sister, Dianne Heaster of Mt. Holly Springs, two grandchildren; Madison Raffensberger and Teagan Jenner and his former wife and caregiver, Frances M. Jenner.  Michael was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Raffensberger, who passed away on Sept. 3, 2015.

 

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle.  Burial will be private at Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.  www.Since1853.com.
