
Mrs. Beverly E. Foster Floyd was born on September 18, 1948 in Carlisle to the late Robert L. and Elizabeth
J. Foster. Beverly went to be with God on September 15, 2018 at 11:45 a.m. at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. At an early
age, Beverly accepted the Lord as her savior at Mt Tabor Methodist AME Church, where she attended as a young girl. Beverly enjoyed
music, qvc shopping, working with special needs young adults and attending all family functions. Beverly was well known for
her spaghetti and meatballs. Beverly was living in Paterson, NJ when she met Frank Floyd in February 1979, they married May
9, 1981 in Paterson. In February 1987, they relocated back to Carlisle because Beverly wanted to be near her family. Left to cherish
her precious memories is her truly devoted and loving husband of 37 years, Frank Floyd, four children; Frank Floyd, Jr., Terrell
Floyd, Shawneequa “Nikki” Floyd and Linnette Floyd, grandchildren; Jasmin, Deja Zeandre, Devante and Arianna,
six sisters; Evelyn L. Smallwood, Barbara Collins, Carole A (Leon) Ramsey, Vina E. Stokes, Sharon (Donald) Wansley, Karen
D. Amerson, three brothers; Richard (Stephanie) Foster, Larry (Anna) Foster and Eric (Michelle) Foster, one stepsister, Sarah
Byers, brothers-in-law; John C. (Helen) Floyd, Harry Lee (Mabel) Floyd and Norman (Hattie) Floyd Jr., sisters-in-law; Mildred
Cooper, Margaret Jackson, Bertha (Wilbur) Murphy, two close and devoted friends; Gwen Futch and Estelle Scott and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A viewing will begin
at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m. in the Bibleway Hibner
Memorial Church of God in Christ, 223 Walnut St., Carlisle, with Rev. Robert Woodall, Sr. officiating. Burial will be
in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Flowers are
