
Elsie V. Price, 91, of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, September
4, 2018 at UPMC-Pinnacle Carlisle. She was born on August 14, 1927 in Carlisle and was the daughter of
the late Abraham A. and Elsie E. (King) Putt and was the widow of George A. Price, who passed away on January 8, 2012. Elsie went back to school and received her high school diploma and graduated
from Cumberland Valley High School with the Class of 1992. She retired after 15 years of service as a cook
with the former Heishman’s Restaurant in New Kingstown. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist
Church, New Kingstown. Elsie was a charter member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Aerie 1299, Carlisle.
She was a longtime volunteer at the former Carlisle Hospital. She is survived by two sons; Barry A. (wife, Sandy) Price of Homestead,
TX and George L. (wife, Jane) Price of Carlisle, three daughters, Carol A. Culley of Carlisle, Mary M. Price of Dillsburg
and Marti L. (husband, Barry) Ebersole of Mechanicsburg, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Beverly Diane Price, five sisters; Martha Evelhoch, Pauline Richwine, Ethel
Boldosser, Faye Calaman and Janet Carter and one brother, Lester King. A private graveside service will be held in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle.
Ewing Brothers Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to

never truly learned what the words I MISS YOU were until I reached for my Moms hand, and it wasnt there. I will remember
