E. "Buttons" Hadley, 58, of Harrisburg, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born on October 2, 1959 in Harrisburg and is a son of Odell Hadley, Sr. and Ruth M. (Coleman) Hadley of Palm
Dale, CA. James graduated in 1979 from Carlisle High School and shortly thereafter
enlisted in the US. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1983. James was currently operating his own heating
and air conditioning business in Harrisburg. He formerly worked at Fry Communications, Mechanicsburg and
the PA State Maintenance Department in Harrisburg. In
addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Elijah Worley of Harrisburg, daughters; Cherie Wiley of Charlotte, NC,
Keairra Hopkins, Khidhr Hopkins and Khalanna Hadley all of Harrisburg, his wife, Angel O. (Hopkins) Hadley, sisters; Lindora
Coleman Johnson of Carlisle, Debbie Potts of Atlanta, GA, Betty Thomas of Akron, OH, Edith Day of York and Gloria Thompson
of Asbury Park, NJ, brothers; Odell Hadley, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA, Bruce and Michael Hadley both of Palm Dale, CA, Ronald
Hadley of Santa Barbara, CA, Pastor Duane Coleman of Harrisburg and Gary Coleman of York, stepsons; George Hopkins and Reginald
Hopkins both of Harrisburg, uncle, Ronald Coleman of Carlisle, 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sisters; Donna Nealy and Leona Palmer and uncle, Richard Coleman.
A
viewing will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 followed by funeral services at 12:30 p.m. in the Carlisle Alliance
Church, 237 E. North St., Carlisle with Pastor Duane Coleman officiating. Burial will be private at Indiantown
Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements.

I was shocked to hear of Buttons passing. He, Buzz and I would go on long
