Steven D. Diehl, Sr., 55, of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away from complications of cancer on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Hershey Medical Center.  He was born on July 3, 1963 in Carlisle and is a son of Carolyn R. (Minich) Diehl of Carlisle and the late Rodger C. Diehl, Sr.

Steve graduated from Carlisle High School in 1981 and shortly thereafter enlisted in the U. S. Coast Guard and was honorably discharged in 1989.  He has been employed for the past 19 years in telecommunications with the PA State Police in Harrisburg and was a casual driver with YRC and Allen Distribution.  Steve was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs V.F.W. and Teamsters Local 776.  He was formerly active in Boy Scouts of America and coaching with the Mt. Holly Springs Youth Baseball League.  Steve had a lifelong passion for big trucks and greatly enjoyed woodworking.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Tiffanie S. Neal, one daughter, Heather L. Diehl of Ephrata, five sons; James W. Diehl and husband, Ben of Walkersville, MD, Steven D. Diehl, Jr. and Joshua C. Diehl, both of Mt. Holly Springs and Mason T. Neal and Izayah J. Diehl, both at home, two brothers; Rodger C. Diehl, Jr. and J. Mark Wrightstone, both of Carlisle, one sister, Connie Leiby of Carlisle, his former wife, Denise Diehl of Mt. Holly Springs and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2018 followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St, Carlisle, with Rev. Wayne A.
