Wilfred D. “Bud” Lamoureaux, 83, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.  He was born on June 6, 1935 in Staten Island, New York and was a son of the late William and Agnes Lamoureaux. He was married to the late Bertha “Sis” (Stetter) Lamoureaux who passed away in December of 2009.

Bud graduated from the public schools in New York City. He served in the US Army for four years and was a veteran of the Korean War.  Bud also served two years in the US Navy prior to his Army enlistment. After his time in the service, Bud owned and operated several restaurants including, the Kozie Korner Restaurant in Mifflinburg and Cheers Family Restaurant in Mifflinburg.  He was an avid baseball fan with his favorite team being the New York Yankees.  Wilfred was of Lutheran faith.

He is survived by his devoted family which includes, one daughter, Diane S. (husband, Doug) Shaffer of Lewisburg, two sons; Steve D. (wife, Susan) Lamoureaux of Palm Coast, Florida, Edward T. (wife, Heather Doyle) Lamoureaux with whom “Bud” lived, one brother, Edward Lamoureaux of New York City, eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Wilfred was predeceased by one sister, Lillian Lamoureaux.
