
William Maceiko, 89, of Carlisle and
formerly of Camino, CA, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
He was born September 28, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan and was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Welitchko) Maceiko. Bill
graduated from Dallas High School in Dallas, PA. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. Bill retired as the Fleet Maintenance
Supervisor for the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department. Bill also served as a Deputy
Sheriff, owned and operated a logging truck, taxi cab and tow truck. He was an avid antique car enthusiast and loved
animals. He is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Mary L. (Champlain)
Maceiko, one son, Vern (wife, Deborah) Maceiko of Pollock Pines, CA and one daughter, Sharon (husband, Bryan) McLaughlin of
Shippensburg, PA. Private burial will be held in
North Middleton Church of God Cemetery, Carlisle. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements.
