Wilmot D. “Willy” Jumper, Sr., 81, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at home with
his family by his side. He was born on March 5, 1937 in Carlisle and was a son of the late Miley H. Jumper,
Sr. and Ruth V. (Hock) Jumper. He was married for 53 years to the late Anna Mae (Sampson) Jumper, who passed
away on March 27, 2012. Wilmot graduated in 1954 from Boiling
Springs High School. He was a lifelong farmer in the Carlisle area and also hauled milk. He
enjoyed attending auctions and flea markets. He is survived by
two sons; Wilmot D. Jr. (and wife, Lynn) of Bloserville and Jeffrey A. (and wife, Anne) of Carlisle, three daughters; Julie
A. Lawyer, Jerri L. Fisher of Carlisle and Kelly S. Hamilton (and husband, William) of Boiling Springs, three brothers; Duane
Q. Jumper of Mechanicsburg, Galen L. Jumper, Sr. of Carlisle and Miley H. “Jake” Jumper, Jr. of Carlisle, four
sisters; Charlotte F. Killinger of Carlisle, Bonnie F. McKee of Newville, Twila J. Stacher of California
and Debra C. Jumper of Carlisle, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He
was preceded in death by three brothers, Luther Dean Jumper Gary F. Jumper and Conrad B. Jumper. A graveside service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018 in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery, Mt.
