Helen M. Grove Kiner, 90, of
Mt. Holly Springs, passed away on March 31, 2018 in Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. She
was born on April 14, 1927 in Plainfield and was a daughter of the late Lawrence E. Grove and Anna M. (Low) Grove. Helen retired from the former Carlisle
Tire and Rubber Co. in 1990 with 25 years of service. She was a member of The Meeting House, Carlisle.
She is survived by two daughters; Dorothy K. (husband, Thomas) Shively and Deborah M. Carbaugh,
both of Mt. Holly Springs, one sister, Martha A. Sowers of Crystal River, FL, one daughter-in-law, Barbara H. Kiner of Carlisle,
7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in
death by one son, Steven R. Kiner, who died in 2006, her former husband, Harold R. Kiner, who died
in 2008, three brothers; Lawrence E., Donald E. and Ralph Grove, two sisters; Edna M. Conrad and
P. Maxine Conrad and one great-granddaughter, Dakota Kiner. A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018
followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Pastor Thomas
Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Memorial

Remembering
