Millie and Family,  We sincerely pray for you in this time of sorrow. Joe and I could not be at the services due to health and weather. We will remember Merle at the music jams in Shermansdale. Peace be with you.

Mildred and family, I send my prayers and condolences to you and the family. Merle was one of the first men I was assigned to when I began my 42 years at Carlisle Tire and Rubber Company. He was a good man who took serious time to get me started on the right foot. I owe him a great deal. I thank him for his military service and for his years at Tire and Rubber. Rest easy, my friend.
