Forty years ago I began a summer waitress job at Rillo's and stayed 10 years. Manny "ruled the roost" with inspections and her notes signed MR. She set the standard for excellence yet brought you into the fold with her warmth and abundant love. This sense of family extended well beyond the doors of the restaurant. Rest peacefully Manny with the loved ones who have passed before you.
With healing thoughts and heartfelt condolences to the family.

Dear Mary Ann -
My heart goes out to you after you losing your beloved mother.  She was very kind. I remember one of the best childhood birthday parties I attended was yours when we had such a good time between your house and the restaurant.  It was fun to see her cooking her big vat of spaghetti sauce.  God bless you and your family.

Mary Ann and family: I am so sorry for your loss. Manny was the sweetest lady. I interviewed her a couple time for the paper and she was a hoot! I'm sure you have great memories to treasure. Thoughts and prayers with your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with all your family. My husband was the bar tender when the bar was first opened.  We lived next door.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I will remember Magdalene smiling face and her reciting the Our Father with me when I brought her Communion.  I am sure the Angels led her to heaven.  God rest her soul.
