

Walter
Hampton, 58, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg. He
was born on August 18, 1959 in Gordo, Alabama, and was a son of the late Ed and Ethel (Cunningham) Hampton. He
was married to the late Carol (Barnes) Hampton, who passed away on March 15, 2015. Walter was a high school graduate and served six years in the US Army. He retired after 20 years
of service as a truck driver with Carlisle Carrier. He is survived by
three sons; Adrian and Nathanial Barnes and Baishi Bailey, two daughters; Kinisha and Renee Barnes, brothers; Fred, Eddie,
Carl and Ralph Hampton, sisters; Peggy, Ida, Betty, Maddie, Annie and Barbara Hampton, several grandchildren and many nieces
and nephews. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 9:00 a.m.
on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. The funeral procession will
depart Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
A repast will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Haines - Stackfield American Legion Post 826, 148 W. Penn Street, Carlisle,
