Nancy L. Kling, 89, of Carlisle, passed away on
Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. She was born on May
26, 1928 in Newville, and was a daughter of the late William and Florence (Burkholder) Wagner and the widow of Lynn E. “Ike”
Kling, who passed away on May 10, 1995. Nancy
graduated in 1946 from the Newville High School. She retired from the former Reeves-Hoffman, Inc., Carlisle
after many years of service. Nancy was a former member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle. She is survived by
one daughter, Kristine (husband, Tarry) Gennett of Harrisburg, one son, L. Duane (wife, Wanda) Kling of Carlisle, one sister,
Sarah Hurley of Carlisle, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was
preceded in death by three brothers; Harold, Leo and Clair Wagner.
A visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday,
October 16, 2017 followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St, Carlisle,
with Rev. Walt Frankenberry officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
