
C. Lourene (Turley) Winters Ciotola, 79, of Carlisle,
went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Claremont Nursing Home, Carlisle. She was born
on October 8, 1937, in Carlisle, the daughter of the late Glenn P. Turley Sr. and Helen May (Stoner) Turley, and was the widow
of Nazaro Ciotola. Lourene is survived by her only son, Desi Winters and his wife Sherry of
Mechanicsburg; two grandchildren Eric Winters and his wife Jessica, of Dillsburg and Holly Tusing and her husband Joseph,
of Mt. Pleasant Mills; and 3 great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Winters, Ethan Winters and Ainsley Tusing. She was preceded
in death by one brother, Glenn P. Turley, Jr. and one great-grandson, Cullen Joseph Tusing. She was a 1955 graduate
of Carlisle High School. Lourene retired from the General Services Division of the State of Pennsylvania where she worked
for over 30 years. Throughout her life she was a friend to many. She enjoyed her family and friends, sprint car races, getting
her hair done, eating out at the local diners, traveling the United States, sightseeing and living in Carlisle. A
visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 followed by a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. in the Ewing
Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St, Carlisle, with Rev. Barbara Albert officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Holly Springs
Cemetery, Mt. Holly Springs. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation
