June Arlene Baum, 83, of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in the M. S. Hershey Medical Center.  She was born on February 12, 1934 in Bloserville, and was a daughter of the late John E. and Edna Jane (Baughman) Finkenbinder.

For over 30 years June did housecleaning for families in the local area.  She was a member of West Hill United Methodist Church, Carlisle.  June loved to clean, talk to her sisters, neighbors and friends.  She enjoyed camping, playing cards, yard sales, auctions, snowmobiling and shopping.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Donald K. Baum, one daughter, Joy (husband, Jesse) Middaugh of Dillsburg, four grandchildren; Donna (husband, Joshua) Blain, Daniel Erickson, Courtney Middaugh and Colton Middaugh, one great-grandson, Everett Blain, three brothers; Glenn Finkenbinder of Clearwater, FL, Jay Finkenbinder and Roy Finkenbinder both of Newville, six sisters; Mildred Bistline, Marie Zeigler, Ruth Armolt, Ethel Chestnut and Doris Nickel all of Carlisle and Shirley Heishman of Newville and many nieces and nephews.  June was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Erickson and one brother, Lee Finkenbinder.

A visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 followed by funeral services at 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Lisa Klinger officiating.  Burial will be in Upper Frankford Brick Church Cemetery, Newville.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Hill United Methodist Church, 4133 Enola Road, Newville, PA 17241.  www.Since1853.com

Donnie, Joy, Donna, Danny, friends and family- our deepest sympathy to you in the passing of June-  to us she was a good sister and sister in law and will be deeply missed. RIP June until we will meet again.
