Survivors include two brothers, Robert W.  Bear and C. Glenn (Susan) Bear of Carlisle;  two sons—Ronald L. (Donna) of Carlisle, Donald L. Mary graduated from Boiling Springs High School, Class of 1942.  As an Army wife, Mary made a home for her family in various places throughout the United States, Europe and Bolivia, before retiring with “Larry” in Tampa, FL, where she worked in the ER at St Joseph’s Hospital, loved by patients and colleagues alike.  During her life, she volunteered with the American Red Cross, working with U.S, soldiers and later with senior citizens at Forest Park Nursing Home.  She was a member of the Carlisle United Methodist Church.

Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery, VA, at the convenience of the family.  It was her wish that those wanting to remember her do so by helping those in need.  She requested no visitation or flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to Carlisle United Methodist Church, 45 S.
