
Edna Barbara Myers, 95, of Carlisle, passed
away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 in the Thornwald Nursing Home, Carlisle. She was born July 12, 1921 in Shippensburg
and was the daughter of the late Cloyd David and Ella Jane (Rebuck) Robinson. She was the wife of the late
Frederick A. Myers who died on March 16, 2003. Edna worked as a cook at Jacol then the Liberty
Lunch , Carlisle for 26 years. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church of the Cross and a Life member of
VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post 477. Edna loved crocheting, baking and in later years puzzles. Edna is survived by her
two granddaughters; Pam Hedrick of Carlisle and Tina Replogle of Shermansdale, one grandson, Terry Neidigh of Rockhill, one
brother, Paul Robinson of Scotland, one sister, Martha Gayman of Shippensburg, seven great-grandchildren, three
great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by
one daughter, Sandra Neidigh and one son, Woodrow Vaughn.
A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
May 23, 2017 followed by a short service at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with
the Rev. Dan Mikesell officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. In lieu
