Earl R. Morrison, Sr., 75, of Carlisle, passed away
on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in the West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg. He was born on April 12, 1942 in Carlisle,
and was a son of the late Cyrus James Morrison and Cora Almeda (Mayberry) Morrison. Earl graduated from
Carlisle High School and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired after 33 years of service
with the former AMP Inc., Harrisburg. He was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs American Legion.
Earl loved to hunt and was an avid Wednesday night bingo player at the Carlisle Fire & Rescue Services. He is survived by
his devoted wife of 50 years, Sandra L. (Bender) Morrison, one son, Earl R. (wife, Tina) Morrison, Jr. and one daughter, Jenny
L. (husband, Jim) Clites, both of Carlisle, one brother, Floyd (wife, Roma) Morrison and one sister, Thelma Godlove, both
of Carlisle, five grandchildren; Wyatt, Garrett and Sophia Morrison and Carter and Sydney Clites and several nieces and nephews. A viewing will begin
at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 followed by a short service at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S.
Hanover St., Carlisle. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. In
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carlisle Fire & Rescue Services, 177 Carlisle Springs Rd., Carlisle,
