Richard A. Wolf, 82, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the M. S. Hershey Medical Center.
He was born on January 11, 1935 in Carlisle, and was a son of the late John N. Wolf, Sr. and Julia Catherine (Kohler)
Wolf. Richard graduated in 1953 from Carlisle High School. He retired from AMP Inc., Carlisle after more
than 30 years of service. He was a member of the New Life Community Church, Carlisle. Richard
enjoyed bowling, golf, Boy Scouts, flea markets, church activities and family gatherings. He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Sarah J. (Hess)
Wolf, one daughter, Donna Wolf, two sons; Roger and Timothy Wolf, all of Carlisle, one sister, Dorothy Weary of Carlisle and
several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers; John, Jr., Lester and Frank Wolf and
three sisters; Betty Wevodua, Geneva Long and Virginia Wolf. A viewing
will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers
Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Ryan Brown and Pastor Matthew Hahn officiating. Burial
will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
