Carl M. Davidson, 76, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016 in the Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.  He was born on February 21, 1940 in Carlisle, and was a son of the late Morton K. and Rebecca (Ocker) Davidson.

Carl graduated from Carlisle High School class of 1960.  Carl served in the PA National Guard for five years.  He retired from the former Piezo Crystal Co. in Carlisle after more than 35 years of service.  Carl was a life-long member of Carlisle United Methodist Church.

He is survived by one sister, Joyce D. (and her husband, Roger) Nelson of Carlisle, two nephews; Eric and Mark Nelson and one grand-nephew, Taylor Nelson.

A private graveside service will be held in the LeTort Cemetery, Middlesex Twp., with Rev. James VanZandt officiating.  Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of arrangements.  www.Since1853.com

Prayers and Blessings to you. I met Carl when visiting my parents, Lucy and Don Small, at Stawberry Drive. Carl was a very caring man and always had a kind word for everyone.
