Heidi Janna Lawton, 35, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at her home.  She was born on October 21, 1981 in Carlisle, and was the daughter of Kathleen C. Lawton of Carlisle and Maurice L. Johnson of Carlisle.

Heidi was a graduate of Carlisle High School with the class of 2000, where she had played high school soccer, tennis and was on the swim team.  Heidi served in the US Army.  She attended St. Patrick Catholic Church, Carlisle.  Heidi had worked at the Carlisle YMCA, several local restaurants and the Comfort Suites Hotel.

In addition to her mother and father, Heidi is survived by two daughters; Delaney and Sienna MacNamara and two sons; Malachai and Jacoby Weidner all of Carlisle, three sisters; Dawn Johnson of Harrisburg, Dia Hinton of Maryland and Trinity Johnson of Carlisle and her paternal grandmother, Mary Katherine Johnson of Carlisle.  She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents; Matthew and Anna Lawton.

A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016 followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Drive, Carlisle, with Deacon Kevin Coyle officiating.  Burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Carlisle.  Ewing Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.  The family would like to thank everyone for the donations to the ongoing GoFundMe account.  www.Since1853.com

Kathy my heart breaks for you. Heidi was such a sweet girl. I remember watching her grow up. She always had a smile on her face. My prayers are with you and her kids. I know she is smiling down on you. Again prayers to you and your family.

I was so sad to hear of Heidi's death. I remember when she was born and I watched her grow up, as a playmate and friend to Anna and Tom. Anna used to show me pictures of her great grandchildren with pride. Those children have lost their mother too soon. My condolences to Kathy through this horrible time. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. God bless.
