
Mabel Kathryn (Crull) Mackey, 95, of Green Ridge Village, passed
away on Thursday morning December 1, 2016. She was born on May 26, 1921 in Huntsdale, and was a daughter
of the late Oscar E. and Verna L. (Laughery) Crull, and was the widow of Arthur B. Mackey, who died Dec. 17, 2007. Mabel resided on a farm in Lower Frankford Township
for 70 years. She was employed by the Carlisle Shoe Co. and Carlisle Tire & Rubber Co., where she retired
in 1978. She was a member of the Mt. Rock United Methodist Church and a former member of the Carlisle Eagles
Aerie 1299 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by two daughters; Carolyn (Robert) Wahls and Rebecca (William) Gatten, both of Carlisle,
two sisters; Ruth Stambaugh and Erma Finkenbinder, one brother, Jack Crull, two sisters-in-law, Ruth Thumma and Romaine Mackey,
three grandsons; Todd Keck, Douglas Keck and William A. Gatten, one granddaughter, Jennifer (Jesse) Myers, four great-grandsons
and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters; Evelyn Smith and Elma Woods and four brothers;
Joe, Art, Lee and Fred Crull. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in the Ewing Brothers Funeral
Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Barbara Albert officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland
Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
