
Roger Miller, 46, of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Carlisle Regional Medical
Center. He was born on January 12, 1970 in Abingdon, VA, is the son of Connie Faye (Lester) (husband, Jim)
Marlar of Jacksonville, Florida and the late Robert E. Miller, Sr. Roger was a self-employed painting contractor for many years.
He enjoyed spending time at Lake Gaston in North Carolina. He also enjoyed grilling, washing cars
and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his longtime companion, Robin (Snyder) Hockenberry,
two sons; Roland M. Miller of Binghamton, NY and Ryan M. Miller of Mt. Holly Springs, one daughter, Lindsey (husband, Steve)
Gayman of Newville, three brothers; Keith Rasnake of Ohio, Roy Samuel (wife, Katherine) Miller of Palmyra and Robert E. (wife,
Alice) Miller, Jr. of Vero Beach, FL, one grandson, Drayson Gayman, one granddaughter, Jocelynn Gayman, two sisters-in-law;
Donna (husband, Vaughn) Ludwig and Tamera Windish, several nieces, nephews and cousins including; niece, Amber Kretzer
and cousins; Michael Lester and Ronald (wife, Brittney) Lester. A visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December
3, 2016 followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with
Rev. Mira Hewlett officiating. Burial will be private. Memorial donations to help with
funeral expenses may be made to Robin Hockenberry, 226 Pine Road, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.

Family, Rest assured, you are in our foremost thoughts and prayers. Roger is at rest with God who will love and welcome
his child back home. God watched him all his life, knew him and loved him. He will meet you " at the gates".

Dear Robin and family, I am sorry for your loss and my thoughts
and prayers are with you. Roger was a great guy and I will truly miss him. I enjoyed his sense of humor and comparing grilling
recipes with him. I dealt with him mostly as a customer, but I consider him a good friend. Just remember he is in a better
place, but our lives won't be the same without him. I will dedicate my next batch of chili in his honor...I think he
would like that.

Roger's true passion and spirit were evident when he cheered for his and all of our
sons during the football, wrestling and baseball seasons. We have fond memories of sitting next to him and cheering on our
Bubbler wrestling team to another victory. Robin, Roland and Ryan, he loved you dearly and our thoughts and prayers are with
you all.
