

Dale
E. Barrick, 89, of Enola, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 in the West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg.
He was born on April 15, 1927 in West Pennsboro Twp., Cumberland County, and was a son of the late John O. and Minnie
C. (Minnich) Barrick. Dale graduated from the former Newville High School in 1945. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII and
the Korean War. Dale attended Gettysburg College for two years. He retired from the
former C. H. Masland & Sons in Carlisle with 40 years of service. Dale also worked part-time for the
former Wentzel’s Catalog Showroom in Carlisle during several holiday seasons. Dale was a member of
St. Mary’s United Methodist Church in Bloserville. He is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Ruth
J. (Raudabaugh) Barrick, one son, Ronald E. (wife, Ruth Ann) Barrick of Enola, one sister, Mary Barrick of Ponder, TX and
many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters; Blanche and Mildred Barrick and three brothers;
Oscar, Gerald and Lester Barrick. A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 followed by funeral services at 11:00
a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Lisa Klinger officiating. Burial
will be private at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. The family kindly requests no flowers.
