Debra L. Sweeney, 55, of Boiling Springs, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016
at her home with her family by her side. She was born on April 8, 1961 in Carlisle, and is the daughter
of Rodney P. and Helen A. (Tomcheck) Calaman of Carlisle. Deb was the widow of Joseph “Joe”
Sweeney, who passed away on Jan. 18, 2005. Deb was graduated from Boiling Springs High School with the class of 1979. She was employed for over
20 years with Highmark Blue Shield, Camp Hill. Deb loved being with her family and friends.
She enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. Deb always loved her animals and especially her Old
English Sheepdog, Baylee. In
addition to her parents, she is survived by one son, Trevor R. J. Sweeney and one daughter, Kahla J. M. Sweeney both of Boiling
Springs, three brothers; Steven P. (wife, Dawn) Calaman of Carlisle, Jeffrey L. (wife, Rachel) Calaman of Dillsburg and Michael
T. Calaman of Boiling Springs, one step-daughter, Chelsea Rhoads Stackfield of Mt. Holly Springs and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2016
in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Mark A. Sweeney officiating. Burial
will be in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at
the funeral home and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the services. Flowers are welcome or memorial

My thoughts and prayers are with Trevor, Kahla, and the family at this

I was Kahla's first grade teacher and have been blessed by seeing how close Kahla was to her precious mom. How awesome
it was to feel the strength and love in the two of you. Your mom was a lucky lady to have you as a daughter and the
chances that I got to know your mom, you were blessed with a special mom. She loves you and will be with you in your
heart with an unconditional love that will last forever. I wish a peace for your family that passes all understanding
