Credie
F. Windemaker, Jr., 89, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 at his son’s home in Mechanicsburg.
He was born on October 16, 1927 in Carlisle, and was a son of the late Credie F. Windemaker, Sr. and Nora A. (Schmol)
Windemaker. Credie worked in the construction industry all of his life, and had owned and operated his own general contracting business
in the Carlisle, Mechanicsburg and Harrisburg area. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. Credie
enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Mechanicsburg American Legion Post 109. He is survived by two sons; Larry L. Windemaker and
Credie F. Windemaker, III both of Mechanicsburg, two daughters; Beverly D. (husband, George) Hull of Dillsburg and Linda D.
(husband, Frank) Klinger of Abbottstown, one sister, Janet Stone of Mechanicsburg, 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Margie Davie and two brothers; Robert
and Earl Windemaker. A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2016 followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing
Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Arlene Dunn officiating. Burial will be

I surely will miss him. He was my uncle and we spent a lot of time hunting and fishing together. I have
many, many fond memories of him while growing up. May he rest in peace and join his brothers and sister waiting for him.
