Francis G. “Uncle Franny”
Sipe, 88, of Carlisle, died on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at his home. He was born on January 22, 1928
in Boiling Springs, and was a son of the late Russell C. and Irene C. (Miller) Sipe. He was married to
the late Emma Arlene (Hipple) Sipe, who died on Feb. 10, 2004. Francis
graduated from Carlisle High School with the class of 1947. He had worked for the former Arnold Motors
and retired from the former W.L.S. Motors, both of Carlisle.
He is survived
by one brother, Lester L. Sipe of Carlisle and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister,
Carolyn G. Jones. A graveside will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Thursday, October 20, 2016 in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Highway, Carlisle, with Rev. Walt Frankenberry
officiating. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial
contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1 Mooredale Rd, Carlisle, PA 17015.

been wondering why i havent heard from you my flip cellphone fell apart 2 yrs ago
and i lost your number.mindy told me of your passing only today.but 2016 was a bad time for me being denny went to hershey
med june2016 and our daughter theresa died july2016 .Denny died may2017.I will miss you and your playing the piano and times
my 2 brothers, mom and i would watch lawrence welk with you and aunt arlene.i didnt know you were ill but im sure youre well
