Janet M. Blosser, 73, of Carlisle, died on Monday,
October 10, 2016 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born on May 14, 1943 in Carlisle, and was
a daughter of the late William E. “Dude” Keller and Edna I. (Berry) Keller. Janet retired from Ross Distribution in Carlisle after 15 years of service. She had worked for the
former Curtis Mathis Rental Center, Carlisle and at the former Bixler Hardware Store in Carlisle until its closing.
She was a member of the Carlisle Am-Vets Ladies Auxiliary and was an avid bingo and PA Lottery player. She is survived by two daughters; Kim (husband Glenn) Myers of Mt. Holly Springs and BobbiJo Lightner of Carlisle, one
brother, William (wife Joanne) Keller of Carlisle, one sister, Charlene (husband Roger) Mellott of Newville, one brother-in-law,
Robert Bowers, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased
by one sister, Sondra Bowers. A visitation will begin at 6:00
p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2016 followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S.
Hanover St, Carlisle, with Pastor Don Snyder officiating. Burial will be private. www.Since1853.com
