
Donald E. “Bud” Dove, 65, of Carlisle,
passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 3, 1951
in Bloomsburg, and was the son of the late Donald D. and Vonda M. (Bitler) Dove. Bud was a 1970 graduate of Bloomsburg High School. Bud was a master of many trades. He
worked as a house painter, in fire restoration, on the railroads, and served as a PA State Constable. Bud
loved animals and the outdoors. He was an avid artist and a car and motorcycle enthusiast. He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Marge E. (Failor) Dove, one son, Colby (wife, Heather) Dove of Carlisle,
one daughter, Krystal Dove (husband, Dereck) Holter of Carlisle, one sister, Sheila Dove (husband, Mark) Jones of Bloomsburg
and many nieces and nephews. A viewing
will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 followed by funeral services at 11:30 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers
Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St, Carlisle, with Pastor Alan Myers, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland
Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Memorial contributions may be made to Carlisle Area Dog Parks Assoc.,
P. O. Box 1016, Carlisle, PA 17013.
