Viola G. Kuhn, 90, of Boiling Springs passed away
on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Newville. She was born on September 11, 1925
in Dillsburg, and was a daughter of the late Harry W. and Grace (Dutrey) Hair. She was the widow of David
F. Kuhn, who died on March 20, 1986.
Viola graduated in
1943 from Boiling Springs High School. She enjoyed taking care of her home and her family.
She was a member of the Churchtown Church of God. She is
survived by one son, David F. (Tara) Kuhn, Jr. of Carlisle, five daughters; Joan L. (Garry, Sr.) Boyd of Newville, Betty J.
(Richard) Graham of Ft. Naches, TX, Bonnie L. Ryder of Vidor, TX, Deborah G. (Aldon) Husler of Dillsburg and Roxanne J. (Robert)
Montgomery of Lake Charles, LA, one brother, Robert Hair of Dillsburg, three sisters; Clara Kimmel of Boiling Springs, Evelyn
Reighter of Carlisle and Viola’s twin Violet Ramp of Dillsburg, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces
and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers; David, Harry and Glenn Hair. A visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. in the
Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St, Carlisle, with Rev. Lewis Splain officiating. Burial will
be in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. www.Since1853.com.
