Isabelle V. Morda, 91, of Boiling Springs, passed away on
Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at her home. She was born on February 11, 1925 in Kittanning, and was a daughter
of the late Andrew and Caroline (Ziemianski) Papciak and was the widow of Leonard F. Morda, who died April 7, 2012. She was a 1943 graduate of Kittanning High School. Growing up a farm girl, Isabelle worked on the
family farm before working at PPG Industries in Ford City, PA before meeting the love of her life, Leonard. Isabelle
was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Carlisle. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, reading Amish Novels,
chatting with visitors and playing Rummikub with friends and family. She is survived by two sons; Joseph S. Morda (and wife, Sheila) of Carlisle and Richard A. Morda (and wife, Jennifer)
of Boiling Springs, three grandchildren; Danielle Stutenroth, Miranda Chaplinski and Dominic Morda, one great-granddaughter,
Aliya Stutenroth and special nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers; Adolph, Ted, Stanley and Edward
Papciak and sisters; Adelia “Dolly” Brabetz, Amelia “Minnie” Perkovich and Helen Petras. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church,
85 Marsh Dr., Carlisle, with Rev. William Forrey officiating. A viewing will be held at the church in the
activity center on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick New Catholic
Cemetery, Carlisle. A luncheon will follow the burial at the church. Memorial contributions
may be made to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
