Helen M. Clark, 100, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday,
June 13, 2016 at Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle. She was born on January 26, 1916 in Andersonburg,
Perry County, and was a daughter of the late Clark E. and Lottie M. (Sheaffer) Britcher and the widow of Robert J. Clark,
who died Nov. 25, 1984. Helen retired from the former G.
S. Electric Co in Carlisle after 20 years of service. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Carlisle. She is survived by one daughter,
Nancy A. Searer of Sebring, FL, one sister, Irene G. Muldoon of Lewistown, one daughter-in-law, Edythe Anne “Cookie”
Clark of Frankford, DE, four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She
was predeceased by one son, Richard E. Clark, two brothers; Lester and John Britcher and one sister, Mary L. “Jim”
Springsteen. A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June
17, 2016 followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Forest Park Health Center’s Activity Room, 700 Walnut Bottom
Rd, Carlisle, with Rev. Rob Moore officiating. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery, Carlisle.
Memorial donations in Helen’s name may be made to her church at 201 W. Louther St, Carlisle, PA 17013.

What a beautiful Christian woman Helen was! We loved visiting her and serving her Holy Communion over the
last several years. Our sympathy to her family.
