David Pegues, III, 52, of Carlisle, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center.  He was born on August 7, 1963 in Carlisle, and was a son of the late MSGT (Ret) David Pegues, II, US Army and Romaine F. (Drew) Pegues.

David was a 1982 graduate of Carlisle High School.  He had worked for Amp, Inc./Tyco for 25 years.  He attended the Bibleway Hibner Memorial Church of God in Christ, Carlisle.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Dorenia E. (Welsh) Pegues, one daughter, Davona R. A. Pegues at home, three brothers; James Roberson of Carlisle, Richard Coleman of York and Jeremy, four sisters; Joann O'Neal of Mt. Vernon, NY, Thynetha Coleman of Atlanta, GA, Kya Coleman of York and Peggy Grimes of Carlisle and several nieces and nephews.

In following David's wishes services and burial will be private.  Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle is in charge of the arrangements.
